Ghanaian professional pallbearers who go by the name “Dada Awu” have disclosed they will be increasing their prices after the coronavirus is done.
The Prampram based pallbearers who have become an international sensation have disclosed that the ban on social gathering is affecting their business hence they might be forced to increase their charges to coverup for losses since there are no funerals currently going on.
In an interview with Giovani Caleb, the leader and founder of the group Benjamin Aidoo said the group now receives calls from all over the world requesting for their services.
He indicated that the popularity they have enjoyed has had a positive influence on their business adding that they have been featured on some international platforms.
The popularity we have received is booming our business now. We would increase our prices after the coronavirus. For now, we have a manager in Kenya and we have a lawyer too in Kenya,” Benjamin Aidoo said.
In talking about their charges, the internationally famous pallbearers disclosed that they charge based on their services and that they also base their prices on their appearance for an occasion which is mostly either pure white or black and white.
They also disclosed that they also charge an amount of 3000 United State dollars for international shows suggesting that they are really doing well financially.
